Our iconic PET bottle was launched to market in 2001. Inspired by the brand name Smeraldina – the little Emerald – it was specifically designed to resemble this faceted gemstone and reflect the emerald colors of the Sardinian Sea. It’s no secret that Costa Smeralda, located only a few miles away from our sacred origin, is world-renowned for the pristine wilderness of its coasts.
